Officers said he was going 71 mph in a 45 mph zone early Monday. Police said Vizcaino's eyes were glassy and bloodshot and he smelled of alcohol, with a blood alcohol level just over the limit.
The 34-year-old reliever, who lives in Florida, bailed out of jail just before noon on Monday. The Rockies did not immediately return calls seeking comment, and it was not known if Vizcaino had an attorney.
