Colorado Avalanche defenseman Jordan Leopold bounced back from injury in a big way Monday night. He had two goals and two assists in the Avs' annual Burgundy and White Scrimmage at the Air Force Academy.

Leopold just couldn't stay healthy last season, missing 35 games with a hip ailment, wrist surgery, a lacerated leg, a bout of pneumonia and a knock on the head in a game against Dallas.

He says he's healthy now, and he looked it last night as his White team routed the Burgundy 9-0.

David Jones led the White squad with three goals and Milan Hejduk had two. Ryan Smyth had three assists.

After regulation play ended the Burgundy team managed two goals in a shootout, by T.J. Hensick and Chris Stewart.
