Colorado cornerback Cha'pelle Brown earned Big 12 Conference co-defensive player of the week honors after his heroics led to the Buffalo's 31-24 win over Eastern Washington.

Brown's 27 yard interception return for a touchdown with 1:44 remaining in the fourth quarter put Colorado ahead for the first time.

Brown also had six solo tackles in the game, and two broken up passes.

He shared the honor with Kansas State defensive back Courtney Herndon, who returned a fumble for a touchdown and blocked a punt against Montana State.
