The U.S. beach volleyball team of Phil Dalhausser and Todd Rogers has won the gold medal in men's beach volleyball, beating a team from Brazil 23-21, 17-21, 15-4.
In the decisive set, Dalhausser rejected three straight shots.
It is the third beach volleyball gold for the American men in four Olympics, since the sport was added in 1996.
Just yesterday the women's team of Kerri Walsh and Misty May-Treanor won the gold as well. Their victory came during a constant downpour while the men played in sunshine.
