Coming off an unexpected 9-4 season in 2007, the Air Force Falcons were picked sixth in a preseason media poll released on Monday at the Mountain West Conference media day.

The Falcons were picked just ahead of San Diego State, Colorado State and UNLV in the nine-team conference. B

YU, which has won the conference the past two seasons, was picked to repeat. The Cougars finished 14th in the final Associated Press poll last season and return 10 starters on offense

Utah, TCU, New Mexico and Wyoming round out the top five. You can see the entire pre-season rankings below.
