A second man has been arrested on charges of abducting, pummeling and robbing NFL player Javon Walker. The assault allegedly happened after the former Denver Bronco spent a night club-hopping in Las Vegas last month.
Forty-year-old Deshawn L. Thomas is being held without bail in Las Vegas. A justice of the peace is due to review Thomas' arrest documents today.
Investigators say Thomas and 30-year-old Arfat Fadel saw the Oakland Raiders wide receiver as an easy target because he was intoxicated and allegedly lured Walker into a Range Rover.
Walker was found unconscious on a side street near the Las Vegas Strip shortly after dawn on June 16th.
On New Year's Day 2007, Broncos teammate Darrent Williams died in Walker's arms in the back of a limousine after a drive-by shooting in Denver.
