The Houston Texans today introduced Gary Kubiak as the second head coach in the team's history
Kubiak says he's "overwhelmed" and that his dream is to win a championship for Houston.
The former Broncos offensive coordinator reportedly signed a five-year contract worth about ten (M) million dollars.
The 44-year-old Houston native succeeds Dom Capers, who was fired one day after the Texans finished an NFL worst 2-and-14.
Kubiak is a former Texas A-and-M quarterback who returns to Houston from the Denver Broncos, where he was offensive coordinator.
Kubiak played for Texans consultant Dan Reeves and backed up Denver's John Elway from 1983-91.
Kubiak says he hasn't evaluated Southern Cal running back Reggie Bush or Texas quarterback Vince Young.
The Texans have the number one draft choice.
