Meet the new favorites to win the Super Bowl: the Denver Broncos.
After putting in an impressive performance to knock out New England, the Broncos sat home today and watched Pittsburgh upset Indianapolis, the previous odds-on favorite to win it all.
Now, the Broncos get a home game next Sunday against the Steelers in the A-F-C title game, where they've been established as a four-point pick.
Vegas oddsmakers say Denver would be favored in the Super Bowl against either Seattle or Carolina. Denver is now the 3-to-2 favorite to win the Super Bowl. Seattle and Pittsburgh are both 5-to-2 and Carolina is 6-to-1.
With Indianapolis gone, the Broncos have more reason to believe they could win their third championship since 1997 and match the New England "dynasty" for the most titles over the past decade.
15-thousand tickets to Sunday's AFC Championship sold out within minutes of going on sale yesterday afternoon. Fans lined up outside Invesco field hours before they went on sale, hours before anyone knew there would even be a game in Denver.
At online sites such as E-Bay, tickets are already going for several hundred dollars, and in some cases, more than $2,000 a pair.
