Broncos Win!!

The New England Patriots' Super Bowl streak is over. The two-time N-F-L champions were sent packing and there will be a new Super Bowl champion this year.

Champ Bailey's 100-interception sparked the Denver Broncos over the Patriots, 27-to-13. Bailey got caught and knocked down at the one-yard line but his interception of Tom Brady did the damage. That set up the second of Mike Anderson's two one-yard touchdown runs.

The first playoff game in the history of Invesco Field resulted in Denver's first postseason win since the 1998 Super Bowl, which was John Elway's last game.

Jake Plummer was 15 of 26 for 197 yards and one T-D for the Broncos. Patriots Q-B Brady was 20 of 36 for 341 yards with one T-D and two interceptions as he was harassed by the Denver defense all night. The Patriots committed five turnovers.

Next week in the A-F-C championship game, the Broncos will play the winner of Sunday's meeting between Indianapolis and Pittsburgh.
