The personal manager for Allen Iverson says he's been talking to Denver Nuggets officials about Iverson's future.
Gary Moore tells the Rocky Mountain News that the team seems willing to offer Iverson a multiyear contract if he opts out of the final year of his current deal by the June 20th deadline.
Moore wouldn't say how many years or how much money the Nuggets might offer Iverson.
Iverson's current deal pays him 20.84 million dollars next season but he can opt out and become an unrestricted free agent July 1st.
A multiyear deal could have Iverson making less next season.
Nuggets vice president of basketball operations Mark Warkentien (WAR'-kehn-teen) confirmed discussions with Iverson's camp but wouldn't offer details.
