The Colorado Rockies ended their three-game series against Arizona with another loss.
The Diamondbacks beat the Rockies 8-5 last night as Brandon Webb became the major leagues' first nine-game winner.
Webb (9-0) has won his first nine starts, the most since San Diego's Andy Hawkins won his first 10 in 1985.
Stephen Drew had a career-high four hits -- two doubles, a triple, a single and an RBI -- as the Diamondbacks improved to a major league-best 26-15.
The Rockies pulled within 5-3 in the eighth on a RBI groundout from Clint Barmes and a Matt Holliday single.
Third baseman Garret Atkins is riding a 12-game hitting streak but manager Clint Hurdle gave him the night off.
