Forward T.J. Galiardi has signed an entry-level contract with the Colorado Avalanche.

Galiardi, 20, a second-round pick in the 2007 entry draft, finished second among Western Hockey League rookies with 70 points in 72 games. He led the Calgary Hitmen with 52 assists.

The Calgary native had a league-best five goals and 19 assists for 24 points in 16 playoff games.
