College Hockey's Frozen Four Teams Face Off In Denver

By  |

The college hockey's Frozen Four tournament will kick off at the Pepsi Center Thursday night.

The matchups will feature Notre Dame against Michigan and Boston College against North Dakota.

It's the first time Denver is hosting the NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Championship since 1976.

The Notre Dame Irish come in as the upstarts, while the Michigan Wolverines possess the experience. Michigan's nine national championships are the most in the country.

For the third straight year, Boston College and North Dakota will face off in the semifinals of the Frozen Four.
