Former Air Force Falcons coach Fisher DeBerry has been inducted to the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame.

DeBerry and five other inductees made up the Class of 2008 last night. The others inducted were former Colorado Avalanche General Manager Pierre Lacroix; Denver radio and television announcing icon Starr Yelland; Olympic champion runner Frank Shorter; college coach Bill Noxon; and pro golfer Dow Finsterwald.

DeBerry retired in December 2006. He took over the Air Force football program in 1984 and guided the Falcons to three conference titles and 12 bowl appearances.

Lacroix was the architect behind the Colorado Avalanche's two Stanley Cups victories.
