Carmelo Anthony scored 36 points to help the Denver Nuggets snap a two-game losing streak and beat the Los Angeles Clippers 117-99 Tuesday.
The win keeps the Nuggets in playoff contention as they visit the Golden State Warriors Thursday. Both teams remained tied for the eighth and final playoff spot after Golden State's victory over Sacramento.
Anthony's effort tonight was aided by Allen Iverson's 21 points, seven rebounds and nine assists.
Linus Kleiza added 15 points and Marcus Camby put up 13.
Cuttino Mobley scored 25 points for the Clippers and Elton Brand had 17 points in his fourth game after missing the season's first 74 while recovering from surgery on his torn left Achilles' tendon.
