Broncos Release Preseason Schedule

The National Football League on Thursday announced the Denver Broncos’ 2008 preseason schedule, which features home games against the Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers as well as road contests against the Houston Texans and Arizona Cardinals.

The Broncos open their preseason at Houston (Aug. 7-11) and play their first home game of the preseason against Dallas (Aug. 14-18). Exact dates and times for Denver’s preseason schedule will be announced at a later time.

All four of the Broncos’ preseason games will be produced and broadcast locally by CBS 4 (KCNC-TV) and broadcast in Southern Colorado on KKTV.

Denver is 9-3 (.750) in the preseason since 2005 and owns a 39-17 (.696) mark in the exhibition schedule under Head Coach Mike Shanahan (1995-Pres.). The Broncos’ all-time preseason record stands at 119-102 (.538).

The NFL will release Denver’s complete 2008 regular-season schedule later in April.
