Denver Nuggets superstar Carmelo Anthony has been named Western Conference Player of the Week.
The NBA announced the award today for games that Anthony played in a seven-day span through Sunday. Anthony averaged almost 27 points per game in three games against the Dallas Mavericks and the Golden State Warriors.
This is the second time this season Anthony has won the award and the eighth time in his career. Teammate Allen Iverson has also received the award twice this season.
