The scoreboard at the Pepsi Center didn't stop until the Denver Nuggets stopped shooting. Carmelo Anthony scored 26 points, Allen Iverson had 24 and Marcus Camby had a triple-double as the Nuggets set an NBA season high for points in a game with a 168-116 rout of Seattle.
The 168 points are the most Denver has scored in a game since a 1984 overtime game against San Antonio. It is also the most the Nuggets have scored in regulation.
The Nuggets' 168 points was also the league high for the season. Denver scored 84 points in both halves, surpassing the previous high of 80 set by Phoenix on November 21st.
Camby had 13 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists to notch his second triple-double of the season. Kenyon Martin had 23 points, one of eight Denver players in double figures.
The Nuggets are within 1 1/2 games of Golden State for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
