Denver and Colorado College are both moving on in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association playoffs.
In Denver last night, Anthony Maiani scored and Peter Mannino made 25 saves to lead Denver to a 1-0 victory against Minnesota Duluth.
The victory gave DU a sweep of the WCHA tournament first-round series and secured the Pioneers' first berth in the league's Final Five since 2005.
In Colorado Springs, Colorado College defeated Alaska-Anchorage 3-2 in overtime.
Mike Testwuide scored the winning goal 2:58 into overtime. He also
scored the tying goal 5:54 into the third period.
The Tigers also won Friday night in the best-of-three series.
