Derek Fisher scored a season-high 28 points and Jordan Farmar added 19 as the short-handed Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Denver Nuggets 116-99 last night.
It was the Lakers' 18th win in 22 games.
Kobe Bryant had 17 points and a season-high 11 assists. Lamar Odom added 15 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists for the Lakers (27-12).
The Nuggets played the final 2-and-a-half quarters without Carmelo Anthony, who sprained his left ankle midway through the second period. The team says X-rays of Anthony's ankle were negative but he'll be re-evaluated today in Denver.
