The Denver Post is reporting that the Colorado Rockies and shortstop Troy Tulowitzki are close to agreeing on a record contract.
The deal would reportedly be worth 30 million dollars over six years. That would be the largest contract ever handed out to a player with less than two years of big league experience.
When completed, the deal would keep Tulo in a Rockies uniform through the 2014 season.
