Linas Kleiza scored a career-high 41 points and Allen Iverson added 28 as the Denver Nuggets beat the Utah Jazz 120-109 on Thursday night.
Carmelo Anthony scored 23 points, and Marcus Camby had 24 rebounds and 11 blocks for the Nuggets, who snapped a two-game losing streak.
Deron Williams had 23 points to lead the Jazz, whose four-game winning streak ended.
Kleiza had 36 at the end of the third quarter, when the Nuggets held a 98-88 lead. He scored nine in the period, helping Denver grab a lead as large as 13 points.
The Nuggets quickly extended the lead in the fourth when J.R. Smith scored four straight points and fed Camby for a give-and-go dunk to make it 106-91 early in the period. The Jazz never got closer than 13 the rest of the way, and Denver led by as many as 21.
Kleiza's previous career high of 29 came March 15 against the Los Angeles Lakers. He reached that total with 11:12 left in the third quarter against Utah. Kleiza scored 27 first-half points, 20 in the second quarter, to help give the Nuggets a 61-59 lead at the break.
Kleiza got the Nuggets rolling in the second quarter. He hit back-to-back 3-pointers and scored eight points in the first 4:09 of the period as Denver took a 45-35 advantage.
Korver brought the Jazz back with eight points, including two 3-pointers that sparked a 10-0 Utah run to tie it with 4:40 left in the half.
The Nuggets trailed by six early, but rallied to take a 31-28 lead after the first quarter. Camby hit a long jumper and Smith's 3-pointer broke a 26-all tie and gave Denver its first lead. Iverson hit a fall away 3 at the end of the quarter, but didn't get it off before the horn.
