Bill Sweatt To Play For Team USA

Colorado College forward Bill Sweatt will suit up for the Red, White and Blue again in 2007.
Tuesday night, the Tigers forward was selected to compete in the World Juniors which run from Dec. 26 through Jan. 5 in the Czech Republic.
Sweatt helped team USA claim Bronze last year in the tournament. He is one of 12 forwards named to Team USA for the 2008 version
of the event.
The American roster, which includes 22 players in all. was announced live during Versus¹ national telecast of the Detroit Red Wings-Montreal Canadians NHL game on Tuesday evening.
Due to his participation at World Juniors, the sophomore left wing will miss CC¹s two games at the Lightning College Hockey Classic in Tampa, Fla. (Dec. 29-30) as well as its series at the University of Wisconsin the following weekend (Jan. 4-5).
Sweatt was selected by the Chicago Blackhawks in the 2007 NHL draft last summer.
