Falcon Heading To State Title Game

The Falcon Falcons survived a late game rally by the Palisade Bulldogs to hold on an win the State 3A semi-final game. The Falcons will now move on to face Berthoud in the state title game next Saturday.

The Falcons finally took the lead in the third quarter on a Keenen Ballage touchdown run after a scoreless first half. Palisade was able score with less than a minute to play but went for two instead of kicking the extra point to tie, they did not get the conversion. After a successful onside kick, the Bulldogs missed a long field goal at the end of the game and Falcon held on for the 7-6 win.

The Falcons will host next weekend's title game.
