Colorado College freshman goalie Richard Bachman made 32 saves to lead the Tigers past North Dakota 4-1 in hockey tonight.

North Dakota dominated the first period with an 18-4 shots-on-goal advantage, but the Tigers escaped with a 1-0 lead on Scott Thauwald's shorthanded goal.

UND's Matt Watkins tied it in the second period.

The Tigers took the lead for good on the power play on Scott McCullough's tip of Brian Connelly's slapshot from the point. Less than a minute later, the lead moved to 3-1 when Eric Walsky one-timed Tyler Johnson's pass from the corner.

Billy Sweatt's empty-netter with eleven seconds left ended scoring.

Jean-Philippe Lamoureux had 17 saves for UND.
