Willis McGahee had just one destination in mind after his three-year stint as Baltimore's backup came to an end last season -- Denver.
That's where the big, ninth-year running back saw the best opportunity to jumpstart his career with John Fox taking over as head coach and retaining Eric Studesville to tutor the tailbacks.
McGahee and Studesville had worked together in Buffalo early in their careers, and Fox has a long history of operating a run-heavy offense.
After a slow start, McGahee has become the Broncos' workhorse running back, posting four 100-yard games in six starts.
Last week, he ran for 163 yards -- four shy of his career best -- and two TDs at Oakland.
