Broncos Open Preseason Against Cowboys Thursday

Diehard fans can rejoice--football season is back!

The Broncos will open their preseason in Arlington, Texas Thursday night, facing off against the Dallas Cowboys. The game can be watched right here on KKTV, beginning at 6:30 p.m.

With his second season starting, Tim Tebow insists he's a happy camper unfazed by his many critics who are blasting him over his inconsistent performances at the Denver Broncos training camp.

The popular but unpolished second-year pro from Florida is still trying to morph from a star college quarterback who relied on his legs and trademark jump pass into a drop-back, pocket passer in the pros.

Many expected him to be thrust into the starting role this season, but trade talks regarding Kyle Orton fizzled and Orton has been the clear No. 1 QB in Denver since the first day of camp.

Two weeks ago, Orton was on the trading block and Tebow had to figure this was his team. Orton showed up the next day, however, and within 48 hours, the Miami Dolphins had decided to go in another direction.

So, the Broncos were left with his $9 million contract and a pretty good quarterback.

Tebow has drawn criticism far and wide but said he's keeping his head up. He used the word "fun" 11 times in a 5 1/2-minute chat with reporters coming off the field Wednesday.

If you don't know who that was announcing the game, you don't know enough about the Broncos. Perhaps you're more of a Tebow and/or bandwagon fan?

Get used to it or find another state to live in. It has always been that way, and always will be.

It obvious one of the announcers DOES NOT like Tebow. I really wish there were not so many comments "he's got to learn this isn't college football" comments. I guess he was offended regarding Tebow's comments about the network opinions "he's not ready to play in the NFL". It was a scoring drive RIGHT???? What a jerk he was and an unprofessional announcer.

Yea I don't care about the Broncos and I think that it isn't fair to bump shows aired on CBS for a BAD team.
