Peyton Manning's single season record for passing yardage is under review by the NFL.
The record itself isn't necessarily under review, but one pass play is that would take seven yards off his 266 yard game against the Raiders on Sunday.
In the first quarter, Manning connected with Eric Decker on a seven yard gain that appears, upon further review, to be a lateral. If the NFL rules the play a lateral, then the seven yard gain would be seven yards rushing, not passing.
If the play is overturned by the NFL then Manning's will have finished the season with 5,470 yards instead of 5,477. Drew Brees set the record with 5,476 in 2011.
Manning sat out the entire second half of Sunday's game against the Raiders.
