Competition is over!
Broncos Head Coach John Fox officially announced Monday that Kyle Orton will be the Broncos starting quarterback to open the regular season on September 12th against the Oakland Raiders.
The announcement comes just two days after Orton's efficient preseason performance against the Buffalo Bills that saw him complete 10 of 13 passes with a QB Rating of 135.1.
Fox has yet to announce whether Brady Quinn or Tim Tebow will be the #2 quarterback to open the season.
