A look at Peyton Manning's day at Denver Broncos training camp:
PEYTON'S PLACE: It wasn't Manning's best day but still very good. The Broncos practiced in pads for the second straight day and did red zone drills for the first time. Manning made several nice throws in traffic and none of his passes were picked off.
HOW'D HE DO?: Manning again was sharp and once again Eric Decker made some nice grabs. Demaryius Thomas, who's trying to become the Broncos' No. 1 receiver, showed why he has some work to do when a fastball from Manning bounced off his chest in the end zone.
TALKING MANNING: "I think we've got a 1 and then we've got a 2a, b and c. And they'll sort that out. We put a little bit more stock in game situations, so time will tell." -- Coach John Fox on the wide-open competition between Brock Osweiler, Caleb Hanie and Adam Weber to serve as Manning's primary backup.
