Broncos release statement on Prater arrest

DENVER - Denver Broncos kicker Matt Prater was arrested on August 2 for drunken driving and fleeing the scene of an accident.

The Broncos released a statement on Friday regarding Praters arrest stating:

“Our organization is disappointed with the poor judgment shown by Matt Prater on Aug. 2. This matter, which was addressed with the team last week, continues to be thoroughly reviewed internally.”

Prater successfuly converted all three of his field goal attempts in the Broncos preseason opener on Thursday night against the Dallas Cowboys. The Broncos lost the game 24-23.
