Elvis Dumervil wants to do more than just harass quarterbacks. The second-year pro wants to be a run-stopper, too.
Dumervil led the Broncos with 8 1/2 sacks as a rookie last year.
The Broncos believe Dumervil has improved enough since then to merit more playing time. But new defensive coordinator Jim Bates says Dumvervil won't be the starter.
Bates says Dumervil could certainly be used though on occasional first and second downs as a run-stopper.
