Putzier among four players cut by Broncos

The Denver Broncos on Tuesday released four players to reduce the size of their roster to the NFL-mandated maximum of 75 players

Jeb Putzier was one of the four players who was let go. Putzier was entering his 8th NFL season, five of which came in Denver. He was battling Dan Graham, Tony Scheffler and Richard Quinn for a roster spot.

Others released by Denver on Tuesday include punter Britton Colquitt from the University of Tennessee, wide receiver C.J. Jones from Iowa, and center Blake Schlueter from TCU.
