Brandon Stokley is preparing to carry a heavier workload than he is used to.
The Denver Broncos' slot receiver has had several outstanding practices at camp and is clearly the one receiver who has best adjusted to new quarterback Kyle Orton and the team's intricate new offense.
Stokley said he spent the offseason working out with Orton and now it's paying off.
Stokley has been lining up in the slot with Eddie Royal and Jabar Gaffney on the outside with Pro Bowl receiver Brandon Marshall sidelined after pulling up lame on a long route Aug. 2.
