The Denver Broncos on Monday released six players, including fan favorites Nate Jackson and Jamie Winborn.
Jackson produced good numbers for the Broncos when he was healthy, which hasn't been very often. Jackson had never played more than 12 games in one year for Denver.
Jamie Winborn was a starting outside linebacker for the Broncos and lead the team in tackles with 99.
The team also released defensive end John Engelberger, linebacker Niko Koutouvides, safety Marquand Manuel, and defensive tackle Dewayne Robertson.
