Cutler MRI Negative; Could Play Sunday

The good news for Denver quarterback Jay Cutler is that an MRI of his left leg shows no hairline fracture as was feared. The bad news is it's unknown if he'll be able to play this week.

Cutler was hit by a helmet in his lower leg during the blowout loss to Detroit yesterday. Cutler has a bad bruise and coach Mike Shanahan says the quarterback is pretty sore.

Shanahan says the Broncos will see how Cutler feels on Wednesday before deciding if he'll be able to practice this week or play against Kansas City Sunday.
