Four wrestlers gather All-RMAC First Team honors

Four members of the Colorado State University-Pueblo wrestling team have been named All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference First Team, Monday by the league office.

Air Force baseball had a 2-1 loss at Hawai’i on Sunday afternoon at Les Murakami Stadium in Honolulu, Hawai’i. The second game of the scheduled doubleheader was called after one inning due to rain.

Martin Truex Jr. restarted second with seven laps remaining in the 2018 NASCAR Cup Series season-opening Daytona 500 but the No. 78 Bass Pro Shops/5-hour ENERGY Toyota was quickly shuffled out of the top 10 and then caught up in a wreck with two laps remaining before limping across the finish line in 18th place.

The Colorado State University-Pueblo softball team dropped a pair of five-inning nonconference games Sunday at Colorado Christian University. The Pack lost the first game 9-1 and fell 13-5 in game two. Michaela Burpee (Jr., Union City, Calif.) went 3-for-4 and a hit by pitch at the plate to guide the ThunderWolves.

It came down to the wire, but the Colorado Buffaloes managed to pull out a 72-69 victory on Sunday over the Washington State Cougars to send seniors Zoe Correal and Brecca Thomas off on a high note in their last game at Coors Events Center.
