Giants can't score behind Samardzija, lose 2-0 to Rockies

Jeff Samardzija gave San Francisco a chance to grab momentum after a big offensive outburst a night earlier, but the playoff-hopeful Giants wasted it with a costly dud in a 2-0 loss to the Colorado Rockies on Wednesday night.


Denver Broncos quarterback Trevor Siemian was named AFC Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in Denver’s 29-17 win against the Cincinnati Bengals, the NFL informed the Broncos on Wednesday.
