Authorities say a woman has died after the vehicle she was driving collided with a school bus at an intersection in the southwest Denver metro area.
The Colorado State Patrol says the bus was carrying three children, but none of them were hurt.
The patrol says the bus was southbound on South Wadsworth Boulevard at 4 p.m. Friday when a car that had been eastbound on West Brook Drive entered its path from a stop sign.
The bus struck the driver's side of the car.
The patrol says the bus driver suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene. The woman was taken by ambulance to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
No names were released.
The cause of the crash, which happened in unincorporated Jefferson County, is under investigation.
