CU System's Research Grants Set Record Save Email Print

The University of Colorado system says preliminary figures show its three campuses received nearly $661 million in research funding in fiscal 2008.

That tops the previous record set in fiscal 2007 by almost $24 million.

The University of Colorado Denver and its Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora received $371.5 million of the latest total, the Boulder campus received about $280.1 million, and the Colorado Springs campus received $9.2 million.

NASA, the National Institutes of Health and the National Science Foundation were among top federal agencies awarding grants to the CU system.
