Did "Gramps" ever teach junior high music in Montana, a long long time ago? My teacher had the same name.

wow people! Is this horrible or what! We have people making this PREDATOR into a victim of sorts because he is a nice guy! And at the same time the victim in this whole thing is being made to look like a monster because HE DID THE RIGHT THING!! What is going on here!?!? He couldn't have done it because he's a 'nice guy'??!!! That is crazy! No offense but really, cmon.... To the victim; dude you so did the right thing. What you did took alot of courage and it was and IS the correct thing to do. This man has problems that finally are brought to light. Who knows how many people you have saved from this mans WRONG actions. You are very much a hero and if I could thank you personally I would. You also opened the door for other victims who unfortuneatly didn't have the courage or didn't know what to do in such a heinious situation. I'll just end by saying Thank You for doing the right thing. Thank you also to your parents... they'll know why.

I do believe you and I am on your side. It is great that you are out there raising awareness that this can happen to anyone. And I think you are one of the bravest people I know. Because coming out and saying something that other people will end up hating you for is admirable. And I admire you!!! Thanks for keeping this guy from doing it to anyone else.

Ok so I had Graps as a sub. too and I hate all tese stupid people getting all mad about he victim coming forward! Yea Gramps was a cool sub but all the evidence proves that he is guilty! and all i can say is that the victim is really brave! I totally believe he did the right thing! so THANK YOU!

Wow...Im surprised they posted my last comment, but im very happy it sparked the conversation that it has. I would like to get the word out about this but im not quite sure how.If I could possibly get some WHS students to get on my side and actually beleive me it would be easier. They all think im lying because they liked him. But you read the article, we had a taped conversation, which I beleive might be released soon. He abviously did it and I would like to raise awareness that this can happen to anyone. I know its hard to believe that im actually the person this happened to but if you will just trust.

This is so sad! I had 'gramps' many times and would NEVER expect this. He was my favorite sub. I truly hope that if this is the truth that Gramps gets help, if it just some made up story then that kid did something that is going to change a life and in a bad way. On the other hand, if there is a phone conversation of gramps saying this, then I have no argument. It is just really sad to me. Be careful out there.

This is ridiculous! The victim who wrote--highly, highly impressive. But, all of you people who actually think that such a great guy couldn't have done that--SPARE ME. I suppose the fire chief of a town I will not name didn't abuse me as a 3 year old because who could even imagine that a fire chief would do that. If we could pick out sexually abusive people in a crowd, then why would we have them. Wise up, it's not rocket science. You should be deeply ashamed of yourselves.

wow im happy that the victim had the guts to write....its too bad that he did take advantage of the fact that he was such a trusted person, it just proves that ANYONE can be a sexual preditor! Keep it up victim and dont be ashamed or scared to speak up either cause u did the right thing!

Ok....Ive been wondering whether to post this or not...this happened to me. This is the victim...I am not saying who I am for legal reasons...You say he couldnt do this, he can, he did, I had to sit on the phone with him for 30 some odd minutes reliving what had happened just a couple hours before. Ok, yes I feel guilty for putting a 73 year old "senile" man in such a predicament, but what he did is wrong and he needs to be reprimanded for his actions. And to my knowledge more and more students are coming forward saying he did the same thing to them....but they were too afraid to come forward. I dont like to be consedered a hero, but I would like to say that I did the right thing and people should stop saying he didnt do it for the simple fact that you dont know...You said you liked him...couldnt that have been a ploy for you to be lured into his trap. As far as Im concerned he's a pro at this and needs to get help.

I had gramps as a sub too many times to count and i wouldve never thought he would do something like this! I personally cant see him doing that but Who knows maybe he did do it, you never know, its the people you least expect that would do things like this...i hope justice is brought and if he did do it then he should for sure get in trouble but if he didnt and this kid is lying then thats messed up and he should get in trouble also....i hope we find out the truth!

WOW! How can you actually defend a CHILD MOLESTER!?!?!? How many other children has this sicko abused over his 70 plus years? If he is so bold about it now, I can only imagine how comfortable he is doing it. I agree with witness, these people make it a point to have everyone trust them so they can get to your kids without suspision. I'm not buying the sweet innocent old man routine, hes a dirty old man, and a liar. If he is recorded saying do *** to my*** and I will give you $5000, that is what it is. no misunderstanding.

Everyone is so quick so say "gramps" didn't do this, the fact of the matter is, what if he did? There is that chance he did it, and if they had a recored phone conversation with him and the boy and he said his offer again, how innocent is he? Get over whether or not he's not the person to do it, he did it, and the boy who stood up, good for him, he's brave for doing it. I've had him as a sub before just like many of you and I liked him, but people can seem different then who they actually are. Get over it, he's already been caught on phone.

"Gramps" is sick! He is not the victim here! I am so angry no one considers the person(s)this happened to. I understand people like him...that is how he gained trust. It was not a misunderstanding! cut & dry to the point! At best he has an illness but innocent ....absolutely not! When something like this happens, the victim should not be persecuted, called a liar...you dont know! let the evidence come out. I feel the person(s) is a hero!~ they had the guts to stand up & say this is wrong. I am sick this person has to read all of the negative comments while dealing with this sick issue.

Gramps would never do such a thing. I've had him as a sub many times before and he's simply not that kind of person.
