Students at a southern Colorado school planted 400 seedlings Thursday to help areas devastated by the Black Forest fire recover.

The trees were provided free, thanks to a grant from Project Learning Tree. Students from the School in the Woods planted them.

Two people died in the Black Forest fire last June. 486 homes and 14,000 acres were burned.
