Colorado Springs Firefighters have contained and extinguished a small brush fire burning near a home on the north side of the city.
The fire was in a pile of wood and brush next to a house at 1409 Imperial Rd. CSFD reports no structures were involved in the fire, but several brush fire teams were requested to help. They used several hose lines to douse the flames.
A fire investigator was requested and CSFD says they are looking for witnesses to help determine how the fire started.
