There are several new fires burning in Colorado. Can't keep them all straight?

The Black Forest and Royal Gorge fires, which both started on June 11, are now contained. This means that the fire is being kept within certain boundaries thanks to lines built around the entire fire. It does not mean that they are extinguished.

This week saw multiple new fires pop up around the state: the Lime Gulch, East Peak, Wild Rose, Bull Gulch and West Fork Complex fires. The West Fork Complex Fire actually consists of four wildfires.

Several of these fires are causing smoke and haze over the city of Colorado Springs.
