Updated: 05/20/2013 - Two weekends left to catch one great show!
So often we talk about what's ailing our kids. But this week, it may be time to pause and make sure you're taking care of yourself.
That's what we're hearing from Dr. Caryn Baldauf, with Colorado Springs Health Partners. She says adults are coming in with sore throat, stuffy nose and a bit of laryngitis. Her best advice is Advil. She says it really helps with the sore throat.
Also this week, some disturbing headlines about tainted cantaloupe may be bothering some folks.
Dr. Doug Clark with Mountain View Medical Center says he's having a lot of folks show up concerned they may have listeria. He says they show up with symptoms like dizziness, mild headache, nausea, fatigue and a history of eating cantaloupe. He is doing his best to reassure patients and tells them to return if the headache gets worse, there's a fever, stiff neck or repetitive nausea and vomiting.
It’s good information for all of us, since we could see more tainted cantaloupe headlines.
