Adults, as busy as you are, you've got to keep an eye on your own health with what's going around this week. A nasty gastro-intestinal bug is back.
That's according to Dr. Tom Bartlett with Mountain View Medical Group. He's in the central part of Colorado Springs. He says it starts with nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain. That's followed by diarrhea for the next few days.
He says this bug is lasting longer than most viruses. So, Dr. Bartlett’s advice is to push fluids and treat the symptoms as best you can. But be aware of dehydration in the elderly... or the kiddos if they catch it.
That can make the situation much more serious.
