Now that the kids are back to school, you're probably worried about them catching something from a classmate. But this week, it's the adults who are sick.
Dr. Gordon Golden with Colorado Springs Health Partners told us about viral tracheobronchitis. He's on the north side of town. He says it's been going around for a couple of months. Here are the symptoms:
He says it causes a severe and prolonged cough and chest congestion. Some folks have dealt with these symptoms for up to six weeks. But, dr. Golden says most people get better in two weeks.
Dr. Golden has been treating this illness symptomatically after a course of Zithromax. But talk to your doctor about what's best for you.
