There's no cure. But there are some ways to prevent the common cold and the nasty symptoms that accompany it.
The best prevention tools come from understanding how these viruses spread. This information comes from WebMD. First off, cold viruses can live for up to twenty-four hours on surfaces like door knobs, shopping carts and keyboards. Then those germ are transmitted to your hands and the trouble begins if you touch your nose or your eyes, but not your mouth.
So the best advice is to wash your hands a lot and try not to touch your nose or eyes. Researchers estimate there are over 200 different cold viruses out there. but this advice works to prevent all of them.
