Updated: 05/14/2013 - I'm still focused on meeting my goal of doing a pull-up. And I'm almost there! But I'm always getting this question:
Even if you got the flu shot, you 'll want to be careful right now. The flu is going around.
That's according to Dr. Paul Wall with Colorado Springs Health Partners. He' seen a growing number of cases over the last two weeks. It's characterized by fever, aches, chills, coughing and sneezing.
But that's not to be confused with a gastrointestinal illness also making its way around. Dr. Wall sats this is the same thing that's hitting cruise ships again.
You'll notice vomiting and diarrhea, along with nausea. This is especially concerning because a virus like this can leave you dehydrated pretty quickly.
As always, wash those hands. It's the best way to protect yourself.
