It's time for Spring Break. Time for fun. There's no time to be sick.
But, unfortunately, that's what's happening to some kids in the southwest part of town. The common cold is going around.
That's according to Dr. Steven Reich with Colorado Springs Health Partners.
Here's what you'll notice: a runny nose, congestion and a sore throat. It may even lead to a cough. But these symptoms only last a few days. And they're mild compared to what you'll experience when you have the flu.
And if you plan on doing any Spring Break traveling, health officials remind you to get your H1N1 flu shot. That virus is still going around and you don't want to get sick on your vacation.
